AskMontessori is a Montessori parenting sidekick at askmontessori.com, built and operated by Zachary Booth. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at zacharybooth@gmail.com.
Conversation data: When you use the chat, your messages and the sidekick's responses are processed to generate replies. Conversations may be stored to improve response quality and to display anonymized examples on the landing page. We never store your full name alongside conversation content without your consent.
Onboarding information: If you complete onboarding (your role, children's ages, your name), this is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. It is not transmitted to our servers unless you start a conversation, at which point it is used to personalize your experience for that session only.
Feedback: If you submit feedback via the feedback widget, we store your feedback text, a screenshot if you provided one, and the conversation context. This is used to improve the product. Feedback is reviewed only by the AskMontessori team.
Waitlist signups: If you submit your email or phone number to join the WhatsApp waitlist, we store that contact information to notify you when WhatsApp access is available. We will not share it with third parties or use it for any other purpose.
Usage data: We collect anonymous session-level data including conversation length, quality scores, and whether you shared or gave feedback. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used to understand how the product is being used.
We do not collect your full name, email address, phone number, or any payment information unless you explicitly provide them (e.g., waitlist signup). We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or sell any data to anyone.
We use the following third-party services to operate AskMontessori:
Conversation sessions are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Feedback submissions are retained until reviewed and actioned. Waitlist contact information is retained until you request deletion or the waitlist is no longer active.
You have the right to request deletion of any data associated with your session or contact information. To do so, email zacharybooth@gmail.com with your request. We will action deletion requests within 7 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or Israel, you have additional rights under GDPR and Israeli Privacy Protection Law respectively, including the right to access, correct, and port your data.
AskMontessori is designed for use by adults caring for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us immediately.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
